For some curious reason is regarded as a French word for "again". It is nothing of the sort.
Our use of the word for appreciation of a performance is quite unknown to the French. If the French desire a thing to be repeated, they call out "bis" (twice).
Encore une tasse is "another cup", and this is the correct use of the word.
